Yves Frinault, Founder & CEO of Fieldwire Discusses Managing Tasks Through Plans
In the second half of the podcast, Yves Frinault, Founder and CEO of Fieldwire, joined the #ConTechTrio to discuss managing tasks through plans. Yves, originally from France (if you couldn’t tell by his accent), grew up in construction, consistently visiting and working on project sites with his parents who were both contractors. He came to the United States to study construction technology at Stanford University, where he realized the enormous gap in technology within the field. Yves went on to create Fieldwire to fill this untouched area, a construction management app that makes it easy for foremen, superintendents, and engineers to share information without leaving the jobsite. On the podcast, Yves discussed Fieldwire’s core competencies and what sets them apart from other similar solutions. The ConTechTrio and Yves wrapped up the interview with his thoughts on how to increase technology adoption and the future of 3D modeling within the industry.
