We Interviewed: Marcel Broekmaat
Day Job: Market Manager of Project Controls at Trimble
Resume: Marcel is originally from the Netherlands and received a bachelor’s degree in structural engineering and then earned his master’s in construction management. Marcel’s first job was working for a company called BAM, where he focused on implementing building information modeling (BIM) into their engineering department. Marcel then worked as a project manager at Graphisoft and Vico before joining Trimble in 2013.
Joined the Podcast to Geek Out On: Project control programs and how they are relevant for construction companies, as well as, Trimble evolving from a hardware company to a software company. Marcel and The ConTechCrew also explained how Trimble is bringing consistency to the industry, and lastly discussed how Trimble’s ProjectSight is unifying project data in the field.
